Resurrection Glory

I am sharing a poem the Lord gave me in 2012 on Resurrection Sunday. It is funny how I have these creative pieces around as notes in journals and notebooks and even social media.  I originally posted this to my Facebook page, but wanted to share it here since I have shared a few poems before. Celebrate the best gift ever given through a simple act of obedience of a son...His obedience opened the way for us to come home to our Father. We can now experience life everlasting and power from on high...amazing grace how sweet the sound!

HAPPY RESURRECTION 4/8/2012 12:40 am

It's dark and damp
gloom surrounds
can't see the light
fear abounds
heart pounds
thoughts come
thoughts go
creating doubt
unbelief
pressure pushes
waves of grief
the taste of death
a life let go
identity lost
a seed is sown.

A voice is speaking
the heart can hear
words of remembrance
drawing near
"You are my BELOVED in
whom I am well pleased.
The SPIRIT OF THE LORD
is upon you."
FAITH rekindled
FAITH ablaze
words of LIFE
words of GRACE.

A trembling begins
deep within
earth quaking
earth shaking
rumbling from the deepest place
the core of being
spirit ablaze
the kindle burns
a flame begins
LIGHT pervades
CONSUMING FIRE
engulfs the night
darkness dissipates
ALL IS LIGHT.

LIGHT pure
LIGHT clear
LIGHT is LOVE
LOVE has WON.

GLORY rise
GLORY shine
GLORY yours
GLORY mine
LOVE came
LOVE died
LOVE GLORIFIED.

NOW NEW BIRTH IS YOURS
NOW NEW BIRTH IS MINE!
